Want to know a fun fact about me? A few years ago, I had the bright idea to take an after-work calligraphy class at SMU (Southern Methodist University). My girlfriend, Catherine, and I were going to spend our weekends earning extra money by addressing envelopes for weddings and parties... even doing it as a gift for friends who were getting married.
While it was a fabulous idea in theory, unfortunately we didn't stick with it. Now that both of us are planning our own weddings, what we would give to be able to hand address our own invitations (Hello mega cost savings)!
I now have a completely new appreciation for the art, and I adore seeing how one can carry out a theme through their envelopes. Here are some unique styles paired with what I think would be the perfect dress!
Dress by BHLDN... Calligraphy by Love, Jenna
Dress by Alfred Sung... Calligraphy by Primele
Dress by Monique Lhuillier... Calligraphy by Dancing Pen
Dress by Badgley Mischka... Calligraphy by Arteriole
Hope you enjoyed the lettering goodness!
xoxo A
