Lately I have become obsessed with decorating with blue and white china. What is so surprising about my newfound obsession is that it is a little more traditional than what I usually like. However, I actually love the idea of mixing blue and white china with more bright and bold colors and with modern and newer pieces. Here are some of my favorite looks I've found.

Aren't you dying over these tablescapes??
This is my dream dining room by Grant Gibson! The mix of the blue and white jars with the graphic black and white floors and the gorgeous green chairs is seriously perfection. Oh and then the juxtaposition of that modern light fixture with the more traditional elements...DYING!

I noticed my parents had blue and white jars and vases lying around their house {who doesn't} so I borrowed a few to use in our bookshelves. Here's how it looks!
Blue and White China:
I honestly did not think I would ever like the same patterns of China as my mom, but I am actually coming around! And it's not necessarily that I want to eat on the plates really, I just want to hang them on my walls like in these rooms.
Again, the mix of the classic patterns mixed with the bold colors and modern fixtures and furniture keeps it from looking like your grandmother's house!
